Welcome to True Voice Counselling.
I’m Sarah (she/her), a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), a COSCA-qualified doctor of counselling and psychotherapy, and a certified couples counsellor with Relationship Scotland.
I offer online therapy for individuals and couples. My practice is about getting curious, practicing compassion, and fostering empowerment. I am here to help you connect with your most authentic self, enhance your connections with others, and live more aligned to what matters most to you.
I believe that everyone has a unique story that deserves to be heard with compassion and respect. Life is often a whirlwind of challenges and transitions, and it’s completely understandable to seek guidance during these times. We all encounter obstacles that can feel overwhelming, and having a space to navigate these experiences can make a significant difference. I am here to warmly welcome you and embrace all the emotions and experiences you bring with you.
Together, we can take the time to delve into what’s troubling you and the narratives that shape it. By exploring your experiences, we can uncover valuable insights that not only reveal your recurring patterns but also illuminate pathways forward that feel lighter and more manageable. My intention is to help you find clarity amidst the chaos, empowering you to embrace your story and move forward with confidence.
My therapy style is collaborative, creative, and personal to you. In our work together, you won’t just be a client; you will be a valued partner in the process where your thoughts, feelings, and insights will guide the focus of our sessions. I offer a multitude of ways to explore your experiences on a deep level, from drawing interactive cards and considering archetypical roots, to reading poetry, inviting song-sharing, integrating spirituality, and discussing the cultural factors that influence our lives. These are invitations to connect with yourself and your place in the world—whether it’s gentle feedback, explorative tools, or practical strategies—all intended to help you nurture healthier ways of relating to yourself and others.
If you’re ready to begin, I invite you to reach out so we can discuss what it might be like to work together. We can have individual sessions focused solely on you or explore dynamics with your partner in relationship therapy. I’m here to answer any questions you may have and to schedule an initial chat where we can discuss your goals and expectations.
I look forward to connecting with you and supporting you on your way to achieving whatever you are seeking from therapy.
